SHRC recommends criminal case against govt. doctor for ‘forcing’ patient to go to private hospital where he practised

It also recommends ₹50 lakh in compensation to the husband of a woman who died of burns. While the government is vicariously liable to pay ₹6 lakh, ₹40 lakh is to be recovered from the doctor, ₹2 lakh from a senior civil surgeon, and ₹1 lakh each from two nurses, who too had a role in the transfer of the patient
